We are delighted to feature “Sutton Forest Olives” as our September producer.

 

The days are noticeably longer and the sun’s rays are waking the deciduous trees from hibernation. SPRING is in the air…..these are exciting times! This month we delight in our producer, “Sutton Forest Olives”. The property is inviting and the hospitality we received from Kym-Allyson Burrows was warm and familiar. The produce is a quality offering and includes a mix of olive oils and vinaigrettes. We sampled Olive oils and selected the “Fresh and fruity” Olive oil which we have used in a delightfully moist cake. Try your hand at this recipe, which is amazing with a cup of tea.
We also used “Fresh and Fruity” in our Salsa Verde recipe, this was served with a crumbed Pork cutlet and a speedy potato salad. This recipe can be doubled or tripled to cater for crowds easily. Our Sunday breakfast included a drizzle of “White truffle infused Olive oil” over scrambled eggs. The balance and bouquet of this Olive oil is a delight for truffle lovers. The Olive oil range is versatile and very luxurious.
We are equally impressed by the range of “Vinaigrettes”…….enjoying both the caramelised and traditionally caramelised Balsamic vinegars. Silken and acidic: The perfect addition to crisp salad greens. The range is available at Harris farm market Bowral, IGA Moss vale and Highlands fresh.
